My name is Erin Weed, and I’m the creator of the EcoSystem of Change – a planning method for anyone wanting to make a difference. I utilized the EcoSystem to start my own social enterprise 11 years ago called Girls Fight Back (GFB), a women’s safety education company which I founded after the murder of my college friend.

I’ve used the EcoSystem of Change to launch other enterprises, and again while working at Ashoka’s Changemakers. Based on the metaphor of an ecosystem in nature, this method of starting and growing an idea focuses on a more natural, organic approach to changing our world.

Be warned, the EcoSystem of Change is not a rah-rah-go-do-nice-things-for-people program. Instead, the EcoSystem methodology is designed for smart, driven, optimistic folks who simply need a FRAMEWORK to get focused and organized.
